Here’s How It Works
1. Assessment
We inspect the fence, identify any rotten posts or panels that need replacing before we paint, and note any sections with heavy algae or old paint build-up. We flag anything structural before starting.
2. Preparation
Surfaces are brushed down, algae is treated and removed, and any loose or flaking existing treatment is scraped back. We do not paint over problems that will compromise the finish.
3. First Coat
A full brush application ensures the product gets into the grain and covers the end grain of each board. We work systematically across each fence run so nothing is missed.
4. Second Coat
Applied after the first coat has cured. Two coats make a visible difference to colour depth and protection, particularly on older, more porous timber.
5. Gates and Finishing Details
Gates, gate posts, and any capping rails are treated last so we can mask adjacent walls or paving without disrupting the main fence run.
